So how long do ya wanna belabor the situation with Kolvus, as I can duck him out if it is going to bog down interaction of a more cooperative milieu. And is that really the end of Arnie being the Captain of the Guard?

Pretty much that's how she ends being captain, my intention was for it to be a prologue for her to get back to her original path of vengeance, instead of being a peace loving oddball. After all, she's a lizard at heart, and lizards don't do well with peace.
